The workshop "Molecular, Cellular and Behavioral Aspects of Neurological Disorders" was designed by Prof. Dr. Marilene Hohmuth Lopes of the Department of Cellular and Developmental Biology of the USP Institute of Biomedical Sciences in partnership with Prof. Dr. Flávio Beraldo of the University of Western Ontario, Canada aims to provide participants with the opportunity to gain advanced knowledge about the scientific importance of the molecular mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases, their pathophysiology and new pharmacological alternatives for their treatment.

​In order to achieve this goal, a number of leading names in neuroscience research from both Brazil and Canada have been brought together to cover the largest number of neurological pathologies and disorders, advances in their research and what path to pursue in order to reach the maximum that is the understanding and therefore cure of these diseases.
